1. Membership eligibility and household accounts
- Membership is subject to approval by KIB GYM (KIB).
- The minimum member age is 5 years old.
- An account holder must be at least 18 years old.
- A member under 18 must be linked to an adult account holder and have recorded consent from a parent or legal guardian.
- The account holder is responsible for keeping their own and their children's information accurate and for actions taken through the household account.
2. Applications and approval
- Choosing a plan or submitting an application does not create an active membership.
- KIB may approve or reject an application after reviewing eligibility, guardian consent and the information provided.
- An invoice is issued only after approval. Membership access begins only after KIB verifies full payment.
- KIB may request further information where reasonably required to assess an application or protect member safety.
3. Gym rules and conduct
- Members must follow gym rules, coach instructions, safety directions and proper equipment-use requirements.
- Members must behave respectfully toward coaches, staff and other members.
- KIB may refuse entry, suspend access or terminate a membership for unsafe conduct, misuse of facilities, serious misconduct or breach of these terms.
4. Training risk, health and safety
- Boxing, Muay Thai, Taekwondo, CrossFit and related training involve physical exertion, contact and an inherent risk of injury.
- Members and guardians must disclose relevant medical or safety information and should obtain medical advice before training when appropriate.
- Members participate at their own risk to the extent permitted by applicable Malaysian law. Nothing in these terms excludes a right or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
- Members must stop training and inform a coach if they feel unwell or unsafe.
5. Plans, benefits and changes
- Plan prices, durations, class eligibility, weekly visit limits and benefits are shown before an application is submitted.
- Existing paid invoice amounts and existing membership dates are not changed retrospectively.
- Changes to class eligibility or weekly limits may apply immediately to active memberships. New prices and durations apply to future applications and renewals.
- KIB may change, replace or cancel classes, coaches, timetables or facilities where operationally necessary.
6. Invoices and payments
- Prices are stated in Malaysian ringgit (MYR) and are charged in the amount shown on the invoice.
- Online payments are processed through KIB's payment provider. Cash or bank-transfer payments are active only after an administrator records and verifies them.
- KIB does not automatically charge or renew a membership in this release. A member must initiate each new payment or renewal.
- A failed, cancelled or unverified payment does not activate a membership.
7. Class bookings, waitlists and attendance
- A booking is permitted only while the selected member has a valid membership that covers the class and satisfies its age and visit rules.
- Class capacity, booking cutoffs and cancellation cutoffs are displayed in the member portal. Unless changed by KIB, booking closes at class start and cancellation closes 2 hours before class start.
- When a class is full, an eligible member may join the waitlist. Promotion follows waitlist order and is confirmed through an account-related notification.
- Late cancellation or failure to attend may be recorded and may affect future booking access where KIB adopts a published rule.
8. Cancellation and refunds
- Membership cancellation must be requested in writing through the member account or KIB support.
- Please allow 1-3 working days for processing. Access continues until KIB completes or otherwise confirms the request.
- Refunds are not automatic. Any refund is considered and recorded by KIB according to the applicable plan, circumstances and Malaysian law.
- Cancelling a class booking is separate from cancelling a membership.
9. Suspension and termination
- KIB may suspend or terminate a membership for a material breach, safety risk, abusive conduct, fraudulent activity or unpaid amounts.
- KIB will keep an audit record of administrative membership changes and will provide a reason where appropriate.
- Termination does not erase payment, attendance, consent or other records KIB must retain for legal, financial or operational reasons.
10. Personal information and service messages
- Personal information is handled under the KIB Privacy Policy.
- KIB uses contact information only for verification, account security, membership, payment, booking, waitlist, class, cancellation and other directly related service messages.
- KIB does not send newsletters or promotional marketing messages through this system.
11. Legal acceptance and changes
- The account holder must accept the current Terms and Privacy Policy before submitting transactional requests.
- Acceptance is recorded with the document version, time, account and IP address.
- KIB may publish revised terms. Significant changes will be communicated, and members may be required to accept a new version before continuing transactional actions.
12. Contact
- Questions and written requests may be sent to iman@kibboxingmuaythaigym.com or 011-1004 0969.
- This revised web copy removes the marketing-use clause from the source Terms so it is consistent with KIB's no-marketing Privacy Policy. It requires owner and legal review before production launch.
